Introduced in 1991 as an expansion method to add I/O to larger size embedded computers. Today, a huge selection of single board computers, I/O cards, and peripheral modules are available in the PC/104 form factor. Over 60 companies around the world offer CPUs, I/O boards, packaging, and accessories for PC/104.

Military Standards

Many of our clients come from a variety of military and defense environments including Army ground vehicles and avionics, Navy submarines and avionics, and unmanned, autonomous systems from all branches of the military.  As such, MIL-STD requirements are often a key component of a system specification and an integral part of the expertise that ADL Embedded Solutions provides to our customers.

Wide range of expertise in MIL-STD requirements:

  • MIL-STD 810G for environmental considerations and testing including shock and vibration profiles for military and defense air, land and sea vehicles.
  • MIL-STD 461 for electromagnetic compatibility requirements.
  • MIL-STD 704 for power requirements aboard military aircraft.
  • MIL-STD 1275 for 28VDC power requirements aboard military ground vehicle platforms.

ADL Embedded Solutions maintains a quality management system certified to ISO 9001: 2015.  We are committed to quality and customer satisfaction, and our quality policy reflects this.

ADL Embedded Solutions’ production and manufacturing processes are guided by IPC-A-610 Class III requirements for acceptance of printed circuit assemblies.  An onsite trainer and regular training ensure the highest quality workmanship for our customers.
