PCIE/104 Overview
The PCIe/104™ variant of the PC 104 form factor features prominently in ADL Embedded Solutions’ latest SBC portfolio. The PCIe-based expansion connector provides 4-PCIex1 lanes and 1-PCIex16 bus that makes possible cutting-edge solutions featuring high-performance image capture (CoaXPress and Cameralink), GPGPU processing, 10G LAN applications and much more for applications as diverse as hyperspectral imaging for agricultural and scientific applications, autonomous systems for military and scientific use, facial and license plate recognition for homeland and border security, or even fish-count surveys using fish facial recognition termed “fishal recognition.”
